“Do All the SEO Stuffs Plus Some Magic”
That’s the headline on the RankEdy home page.
Yes, it’s clearly written by someone whose first language isn’t English. But is that a problem?
Not really. The software delivers.
And it’s more affordable than some of the other options.
In this article, I’ll go over the RankEdy features so you can determine if it’s right for your business.
As the headline implies, RankEdy is a comprehensive SEO tool. It’s a one-stop shop for a variety of SEO needs.
If you’re interested in rank tracking, on-site SEO, keyword research, backlink monitoring, and competitive analysis, you’ll be happy to know that you can do it all with RankEdy.
Of course, RankEdy isn’t the only all-in-one SEO tool. It’s got quite a bit of competition. I’ve reviewed several of them in this space.
Still, the tool has some high-profile clients. Among them:
- Domino’s Canada
- Teach for America
- H&S Accounting and Tax
RankEdy might just be the tool that your company needs to advance in the search engine results pages (SERPs).
RankEdy Review: Rank Tracking
If you’re interested in making a statement online, then you need to make sure that your site hits the top of the search results. RankEdy helps with that by showing you where your site ranks for keywords related to your domain.
It doesn’t just give you details about current rank, though. You can view historical rank as well. Use that info to see if your SEO strategy is getting results.
Also, RankEdy breaks down rank by platform. That kind of detail will show you if you’re reaching people who are using desktops as well as folks on smartphones and tablets.
The tool will also show you the change in rank for a keyword from the previous scan.
Each report also displays your average and best rank for specific keywords.
The Rank Tracker feature goes beyond “on demand” reporting, though. It will also send you an alert when your rank for keyword changes.
RankEdy supports 237 countries in 83 languages. If you’re marketing to a global audience, the tool will help you rank for keywords all over the world.
Additionally,RankEdy offers an upscale version of its rank tracking tool called Rank Journal. Use that to:
- Tag keywords and segment changes
- Learn why a site moved up or down the SERPs
- Find out when a rank changed
- Automate certain rank-tracking processes
It’s no mystery that backlink-building is an important part of any SEO effort. RankEdy helps with that as well.
The Backlink Monitoring feature shows you where your domain is earning its backlinks.
At the top of the report, you’ll see an overview of your backlink profile that shows the following details:
- Total number of referring domains
- Total number of backlinks lost in the last 30 days
- Total number of dofollow backlinks
- Total number of nofollow backlinks
You can view the report by domain or page. In other words, it will show you each domain that links to your site or each page that links to your site.
RankEdy will also show you the Domain Rating (DR) of every linking domain. That DR describes the authority of the domain on a scale of 0 – 100, with 100 being the best.
Why is that important? Because higher authority domains will pass more page rank to your site. That will help give it a better rank.
For each domain that links to your site, RankEdy will also show you the number of backlinks. Use that info to grab more links from sites that aren’t linking to you as much as you think they should.
Finally, RankEdy shows you any links that you lost for a specific domain. That kind of detail will give you a starting point in your effort to recover lost links.
RankEdy Review: Uptime Monitoring
RankEdy will babysit your website to make sure that it stays up.
If your website does go down, the tool will send you an alert letting you know. That will help you minimize the loss of valuable traffic.
You can only monitor one URL at no additional cost. Obviously, you’d want to make that the URL of your home page.
If you want to monitor additional URLs, they cost just a nickel per month.
RankEdy will also calculate the total number of hours your website stays awake.
Many comprehensive SEO tools offer a website audit. RankEdy is no exception.
The tool uses a bot to crawl all over your site and find any issues that would hurt your rank.
Once the RankEdy bot does finish its audit, it will display a report that grades your site on a number of factors, including:
- Site speed
- Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP)
- SSL usage
- Sitemap use and validity
- Duplicate content
- Thin content
- H1 tag usage
- Broken links
And quite a bit more.
The website analysis is an on-site SEO checkup. The report lists actionable insights to help you increase brand visibility.
RankEdy Review: Competitor Analysis
RankEdy enables you to spy on competitors.
For starters, the tool helps you find competitors who are a threat to your business and those who aren’t.
It also shows you which competitors are established and which are volatile.
As a rule of thumb, you should avoid following the strategies of competitors who are volatile.
However, you’re more than welcome to imitate the strategies of competitors who’ve established a level of authority in your space.
In fact, you might find some great ideas that you can imitate from those competitors.
The tool will also show you how your tech stack stands up against your competitor’s. If you see that a competitor is using a technology that seems to be fueling growth, add it to your own site.
Of course, you can also monitor important info about your competitors such as their backlink profiles and the keywords they use to rank.
Once again: find an authority site that performs well and imitates its strategies. That’s a great way to gain more traffic.
Looking for a keyword research tool? RankEdy has your back.
As with other keyword research tools, RankEdy will help you find keywords that are both relevant to your niche and low in competition.
It will also highlight long tail keywords that you can use to capture market share from your competitors.
Lastly, The tool identifies keywords that are becoming popular with people in your target market. Use that info to optimize content for those keywords before your competitors get the chance.
RankEdy Review: Topic Orientation
“Powerful & Exclusive tool that tells you how to earn rankings on Google through semantic relations not by keyword optimization.”
That’s what RankEdy says about its Topic Orientation feature.
What does that mean? It means that the tool will help you optimize your site for subjects and not just keywords.
That helps you rank better through natural relevancy.
Here’s how it works: RankEdy crawls the top 100 search results in Google for a specific keyword. Then, it assembles a list of topics relevant to those results.
Then, the tool displays topic results in a spider graph so you can harvest opportunities for better content.
RankEdy offers a feature not found on many other SEO tools: a password manager.
Yes, you can use RankEdy to manage your passwords for various online accounts, such as:
- Web hosting accounts
- Domain management accounts
- Email hosting accounts
- Social media accounts
- SaaS accounts
It’s a tool that can save you a lot of time if you’re having trouble keeping up with passwords for all your accounts. Even better: it’s a more secure way of managing your passwords than putting them into a spreadsheet.
RankEdy uses AES 256-bit encryption with PBKDF-2.
RankEdy Review: Pricing
Pricing for RankEdy starts as low as $29 per month and goes all the way up to $349 per month.
That’s with the monthly plan, though. If you subscribe with an annual plan, you’ll save quite a bit.
On the lower end of the pricing scale, you can track as many as 5 websites and crawl 5,000 pages per month. On the upper end, you can track an unlimited number of websites and crawl 250,000 pages per month.
There are other differences as well. For example, you can only identify easy to rank keyword trends with the $79 per month plan or higher.
For a complete comparison of all the plans, feel free to check out the pricing page.
Wrapping It Up
RankEdy is one of many tools I’ve reviewed here that’s nice to have if you’re running low on cash. It gives you the opportunity to get started with quality SEO work for as little as $29 per month.
If your business is flush with cash, though, you should probably take a look at a more robust solution, such as Ahrefs. You’ll likely find better support with that service as well.
Also, RankEdy doesn’t offer an API. If you’re into custom development, you’ll need to look elsewhere.
As always, be sure to take advantage of the free trial. That’s how you’ll determine if the tool is right for you without risking any money.
